Balloons are delicate items affected by temperature, sun, and handling. Once picked up/delivered, we cannot guarantee lifespan due to environmental factors. If there’s an issue within 2 hours of pickup/delivery, contact us with a photo so we can help.

General Tips (All Balloons)

Keep indoors when possible. Ideal room temperature is 68–72°F (20–22°C). Extreme heat, cold, and direct sun shorten float time and can cause popping or shrinkage.
Avoid sharp objects, rough surfaces, and ceiling fans. Transport and display away from pets and hot lights.
Do not leave balloons in a hot car. Heat makes helium expand and can pop balloons; cold can make them look deflated until warmed back up.
Tie to a weight. Helium balloons can drift into lights or ceilings and pop.
Keep dry. Moisture can damage ribbons, weights, and finishes (especially confetti and chrome finishes).

Latex Balloons (Helium Filled)

Typical float time: 8–24 hours for standard 11–12" latex; larger sizes last longer. Hi-Float treatment (if added) can extend float time to 2–3 days.

Best care:

Keep indoors, away from windows and HVAC vents.
Expect natural oxidation: latex can develop a soft, velvety look over time—this is normal.
If balloons look soft after being in the cold, bring them inside to warm up; they’ll re-expand.

Latex Balloons (Air Filled)

Longevity: several days to weeks.

Best care:

For garlands/arches, keep out of direct sun and away from heat sources to reduce popping.
Gently dust or wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid sprays or oils that can weaken latex.

Mylar/Foil Balloons

Typical float time: 3–7 days; can last longer with proper care.

Best care:

Keep away from extreme heat and direct sunlight to prevent seams from bursting.
If they look “soft,” temperature changes are usually the cause. Move to a warmer room to re-expand.
Do not release outdoors. Foils conduct electricity—keep away from power lines.

Bubble Balloons (Plastic/Deco Balloons)

Typical float time: 1–2 weeks when properly sealed.

Best care:

Keep at room temperature; avoid squeezing or pressing the surface.
Do not expose to sharp edges; these are more resistant than latex but still puncturable.

Outdoor Displays

Expect reduced lifespan. Sun, wind, heat, grass surfaces, and rough walls can cause popping or oxidation.
Shade and wind protection help.
Morning or late-day setups last longer than mid-day sun.
For yard stakes, avoid placing near sprinklers or thorny plants.

Safety

Supervise children. Uninflated or broken balloons can be a choking hazard. Discard broken pieces immediately.
Do not inhale helium.
Never release balloons outdoors. Dispose of them responsibly.

Transporting Grab-and-go Balloons

Clear the car and lay seats down if possible.
Use AC for a few minutes before loading on hot days. Drive carefully to prevent balloons from rubbing on surfaces.
